1. Waltham Abbey Tenancy Agreement

All vehicle rentals in Waltham Abbey are subject to a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The agreement sets out terms, conditions, insurance information, charges, and your responsibilities for the specific hire. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement takes precedence.

2. Eligibility Requirements — Waltham Abbey

To rent a vehicle from Waltham Abbey, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age for hires in Waltham Abbey (age limits may differ by vehicle type, with additional fees possibly applied to drivers under 25). Hold a valid full driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category, held for the minimum period set out in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid photographic identification and proof of address plus a payment card in the lead driver’s name at vehicle collection.

3. Waltham Abbey Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Waltham Abbey location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are usually payable on collection of the vehicle. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Vehicle Collection and Return — Waltham Abbey

  • When collecting a vehicle from the Waltham Abbey branch, you must inspect it thoroughly and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed at handover. Return the vehicle in the same condition as when collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage identified on return will be recorded and charged to the hirer.

5. Insurance and Liability — Waltham Abbey

  • Basic third-party insurance is included with all rentals from Waltham Abbey. Full coverage information and the applicable excess amounts are set out in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to lower your potential financial exposure. We recommend that you review these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount stated in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Amendments

Cancellation and amendment policies for Waltham Abbey bookings vary by booking type and notice period. Refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for the specific terms that apply to your reservation. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Prohibited Uses — Waltham Abbey

You must not use the rented vehicle in Waltham Abbey for:

  • Use of the vehicle for any unlawful purpose in Waltham Abbey. Racing, rallying, off-road driving, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Subletting the vehicle to third parties or allowing unauthorised drivers. Driving the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes for which the vehicle was not intended...

Violating Waltham Abbey restrictions may result in immediate rental termination and charges.

8. Limitation of Liability for Waltham Abbey

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Waltham Abbey Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of profits, loss of data or loss of business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the services will be limited to the fees paid for the relevant hire or £100, whichever is higher.

9. Governing Law for Waltham Abbey

These Terms are governed by English and Welsh law as applied in Waltham Abbey. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.

10. Changes to Waltham Abbey Terms

Waltham Abbey may modify these Terms at any time. Any changes become effective immediately upon posting on the Waltham Abbey website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
